How to Use Your Ambrosia Intention Card

by | Mar 11, 2022 | The Ambrosia Brand

We can’t wait for you to receive your first Ambrosia box and see with your eyes that what we put together is not your ordinary subscription box. In addition to our recommended beauty and wellness must-haves, you will also find fun and actionable rituals designed to “zhuzh up” your wellness experience. When ideating and designing the Ambrosia box, we believed it was important to include elements that would encourage self-reflection and introspection in your journey of self-care, which takes place not only in your body but also in your mind and inner-self.

What we came up with was a limited-edition collection of intention cards. In each box, you will find a new intention card (and matching tote bag!) illustrated by one of our rotating artists, representing their take on the box theme. Specifically, the intention cards will have on the front an illustration and on the back a question that is posed to you with the goal of exploring what the theme means to you and how to make it yours in your journey of self-discovery.

Below you can find some suggestions on how to use your Wonder intention card from the first Ambrosia box, but keep in mind that there are no rules and you can use it however it works best for you.

How to Use Your Intention Card:

  • Be inspired by the illustration in front of the card
  • Think about what Wonder means to you and how/where you can find it
  • Flip the card, set your intention
  • Answer the question found on the back of the card
  • Add any other reflection on the dotted line
  • Display the card on your desk, in your nightstand, or inside of a book – wherever you feel your eyes will fall
  • Reference your intention card any time you feel your Wonder waning

When responding to the question, try to be as instinctive as possible without overthinking your answer. The goal of this exercise is to be gentle with yourself and be open to your intuition and desires. A good way of approaching this could also be to write your answer each week or every month and see how your answer changes with time and your personal growth.

Also, keep in mind that your answer can go beyond words and can be expressed with drawings, doodlings, by listening to your favorite songs, and by putting into practice little actions and daily rituals that are your interpretation of them. And don’t forget to have fun while doing it!

We would love to hear what comes out with this exercise and what Wonder means to you. If you like, tag us on IG and share with us your answers and what the theme means to you, we find that by sharing we can inspire others and we can open a conversation towards creating a mindset that encourages intentional living.
